The colour comes from the leaf brooches the Fellowship receive in Lothlórien. We kept the reference in the stone, not the shape, so it reads as a ring first. A natural, unheated 1.47 ct teal sapphire sits at the centre, with 25 smaller teal sapphires running down a split shank: two paths meeting in one stone. Later, the wedding bands picked up the same green.
